What Do You Measure?

A question that I would like to ask pretty anyone who would I like to have a deeper level conversation with “would be what do you measure?”

Because that which we measure, we care about. Only that which we measure we can achieve any change in. Therefore measuring matters.

I measure how often I write, but apparently I do not measure how much I write.

In day to day management, I’ve noticed only that which is measured can be effectively improved. More importantly if there are no numbers, nothing can be lead, which is a serious problem. Even wrong numbers tell that we are measuring wrong things, but it’s better than no numbers.

“Measure what is measurable, and make measurable what is not so.” – Galileo Galilei

What it is you measure? That shows you care.
