Since we humans love to have control. That’s why focusing to that’s which we can control, which is mostly our own attitude and actions.
By doing this we achieve positive illusion of control. Because in fact the ‘reality’ we live is not as much reality as it is in fact just an illusion that we are living in. Our brains work quite hard to maintain this positive illusion.
Actually there are meditation methods and philosophies that aim through practice peel away this positive illusion. Gently, layer by layer to accept the reality and by accepting it, we reality itself becomes very positive too.
Reality is not perfect, but it fears exposure – like we all do.
