Urgent! Life is really short.

There is never enough time to do everything. If you are more interested in time management check out Jim Flemming’s blog post about time pressure for more ideas.

“The moment that time starts to run out, fear seems to lose all meaning.” – Henkka Hyppönen, in the book Why We Fear

Today such moment hit me, and to anyone who it does their actions become something more… Using boxer’s analogy, when a boxer has a purpose to fight for in the ring, his punches gain weight. It’s just his own dreams, but all those who have supported him along the way. In the same way when we are confronted which the scarcity of time, our actions become heavy, we are not likely to give or sell our time so cheap any longer.

Our time is the most precious thing we have on earth. I wrote in the Bond of love and growth about the Buddhist advise against laziness is the recollection of death or shortness of life. I try to live by this by visiting cemeteries and be around people of all ages including young and old to gain better sense of reality and essentially the shortness of this reality.

Fear limits our lives. In Why we fear, Henkka Hyppönen points out that although fear and fear led organizations are in fact quite dumb, fear has great potential for us too. If we use it in the right way we can master skills to excellent levels when we use it as a driving force.

Fear of death can be also strong creative force and reason to create.

Understanding the emotion that limits us, can also unleash us. Life is short, let’s use the fear in positive way to create more and live more.
