Plan positive experiences to your life

Life should be positive experience, and as a smart conscious people we should plan our lives that way. In how to develop courage, drove the chart about the circle of control where is three layers. Idea in there was that we should spend most of our time outside our comfort zone. To succeed in that consciously we need to plan for it and what’s a better way to plan than a little by little positive experiences, so that we actually want to go there?

“It is a peculiarity of man that he can only live by looking to the future—sub specie aeternitatis.” – Victor Frankl

Without a hope the life becomes quickly dull and boring place, I know this from personal experience. In western individualistic societies we can feel isolated from people. Ideally this wouldn’t happen of course, but we are not living in an ideal world yet. Therefore I would like to point out that those who can, involve other people as well to your plans as much as you’ve giving capacity!

Positive experiences to look forward to are important for our mental health. As individual we identify strongly with our experiences and those will make us more resilient towards the challenges of life. As Victor Frank said “what you have experienced, no power on earth can take from you.”

Often time we hesitate to make the financial investments for travel or a bungee jump. In San Francisco State University study, people were asked afterwards rated experiences for making them happier as well as better use for their money than material purchases.

So investing to experiences is definitely worth it and when we include others there as well we are making the best and most loving choices we can!
